Julie Gondar is a member of the Firm’s Health Law Department, focusing on representing long term care providers, specifically assisted living providers in regulatory and compliance matters.
Ms. Gondar joined the firm in 2017 and is a native of the capital region. She is a 2015 graduate of Albany Law School and has a BA in Public Policy with a concentration in Public Administration from the State University of New York at Albany (SUNY). During her studies at SUNY, Ms. Gondar held internships at the NYS Assembly and lobbying firms, and was active in statewide student government serving as the SUNY statewide Student President and held a seat on the SUNY Board of Trustees. While in law school, she held internships at the NYS Office of the Attorney General and AYCO, served as a research assistant, and was a member of the Albany Law’s Clinic and Justice Center Litigation Clinic representing clients under a student practicing order in their unemployment insurance appeal claims. Ms. Gondar was also a member of the Albany Government Law Review serving on the executive board as the Managing Editor for the Review’s Blog.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Gondar worked for a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs, the Ayco Company, where she worked with high net worth clients preparing estate and financial plans.
