New Ballots for New York State?
The New York Times, citing an unidentified “official,” reports that the Governor and legislative leaders are close to an agreement to “simplify” the ballots used in the state’s elections.
According to the official, the new ballot will “contain shorter instructions,” will emphasize candidate names and will limit the number of languages used to two.
A final agreement is expected before the June 21st end of the legislative session.
