Business Council Tracks Campaign Finance, Election Reform Legislation
Ken Pokalsky of the Business Council of NYS is tracking legislative introductions relating to campaign finance and election reform here.
He writes:
“Campaign finance reform will be a major issue in the 2013 session. The Business Council will be evaluating all campaign finance reform proposals with an eye toward assuring that legislation does not disadvantage the private sector’s role in supporting pro-growth candidates.”
Many of these legislative proposals have been around for some time with little or no chance of becoming law.
Many in Albany are anxiously awaiting Gov. Cuomo’s campaign finance reform proposal, which he outlined in his State of the State address.
