Reports: U.S. Attorney Subpoenas JCOPE
According to multiple news reports, Preet Bharara, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, has subpoenaed records of corruption allegations that have been filed with the Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE).
News of the subpoena comes less than a month after Mr. Bharara took possession of the case files of the now-defunct Moreland Commission to Investigate Public Corruption.
