NY Post: Feds Seeks to Make Deal with Bruno
Fred Dicker of the NY Post reports that Northern District US Attorney Richard Hartunian acknowledges that the charges against former Senate Majority Leader Joe Bruno must be dismissed. In a letter to Bruno’s attorney, Hartunian has reportedly asked Bruno’s lawyer to agree that new charges under a different section of law could be brought against Bruno in exchange for the dismissal of the charges.
