JCOPE Posts Executive Director Position
The Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE) has posted two vacancies notices for its vacant Executive Director position on the StateJobsNY web site; they can be viewed here and here.
The former JCOPE Executive Director, Letizia Tagliafierro, left the agency in July when she moved over to the state Department of Taxation and Finance.
The posting describes the duties of the position as follows:
To oversee and manage staff, presently fifty persons, and report regularly to the Board of Commissioners on all operations of the Joint Commission on Public Ethics (“JCOPE”), created pursuant to Chapter 399 of the Laws of 2011. Executive Director is responsible for the oversight of: Lobbying Reports and Financial Disclosure Statements and related audits and programs; education and training programs; investigations and the preparation, filing and publication of legal opinions. The position is in both Albany, New York and New York City.
