CPI Imposes Fine on Governor for Soliciting World Series Tickets
The Commission on Public Integrity announced today that it has imposed a fine of $62,125 for “soliciting, accepting and receiving five complimentary tickets to Game One of the 2009 World Series for himself, two aides, his teenage son and his son’s friend.”
The CPI concluded that the Governor’s insistence that he always intended to pay for the tickets was false. It also noted that the Yankees have a myriad of issues before state government
