Brennan Center to Host Event on ‘The State of Money in Politics’
Next Monday, the Brennan Center for Justice is hosting an evening event at NYU Law School on ‘The State of Money in Politics.’
The event will look at how the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2010 decision in Citizens United v. FEC has “reshaped the American political landscape,” the state of money in politics today and the paths for reform going forward.
Program participants will include Jeff Clements of Free Speech for People, Zephyr Teachout of Fordham Law School (she was also a candidate New York governor last year), and Ellen Weintraub, an FEC Commissioner.
It looks like it will be an interesting discussion.
