NYC CFB E-Mail System Hacked

The New York City Campaign Finance Board’s e-mail accounts were hacked this morning, and are apparently being used for “phishing” attacks. So not opening any e-mails from them (at least until they indicate that the situation has been resolved) is probably a good idea.

CFB says (via its web site and via Twitter):

The CFB’s email accounts were hacked this morning. DO NOT OPEN any email from the CFB referencing an “Invoice.” Sorry for the inconvenience.
