State Board of Elections Update

The State Board of Elections (SBOE) met yesterday. The Times Union reports that this was the first meeting for Risa Sugarman, the Board’s new Independent Enforcement Counsel.

At the meeting, she displayed the email address for the new unit’s tipline, [email protected].

Also, the Daily Gazette reports that Brian Quail, who had served as chair of the Schenectady County Democratic Party and as one of Schenectady County’s two elections commissioners, will be joining the state Board of Elections in the near future as a Deputy Counsel.
