JCOPE Appoints New Executive Director

After its meeting in Albany today, the Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE) announced the appointment of Letizia Tagliafierro to serve as its new Executive Director.  She replaces Ellen Biben, who left the position in May of this year.

Ms. Tagliafierro previously served as JCOPE’s Director of Investigations and Enforcement. She also worked in the Executive Chamber, in the Attorney General’s office and as Assistant District Attorney in Erie County.
