JCOPE Issues 2012 Annual Report
At its meeting yesterday, the Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE) announced the release of its 2012 Annual Report, which covers the Commission’s first full year in existence. (Read the press release, and the full report.)
As they typically do, the newspapers focused on who spent the most money lobbying (the Committee to Save NY) and overall lobbying spending for the year (which dropped by 7%, the first time such spending has fallen in over a decade).
At some point in the near future, I hope to dig into the report a little more deeply.
In the meantime, read press coverage of the report from the New York Times, the Times Union, the Daily News and Gannett.
