Reactions to the Moreland Commission Report

The Times Union’s editorial board urges Gov. Cuomo to “turn the commission’s recommendations into a legislative agenda, and insist that legislators either pass it, or face the consequences next November.”

The NY Post’s editorial board says that the report “is likely only to increase cynicism” of Albany, and Post columnist Bob McManus feels that Moreland came up short.

Citizens Union provides a “Top Ten List of Surprising and Shocking Findings from Moreland Commission Report.”

In Capital NY, Jimmy Vielkind notes that the report “bears the stamp of Gov. Andrew Cuomo.”
