Report: JCOPE Executive Director to Resign

The Wall Street Journal reports that Ellen Biben, Executive Director of the Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE) plans to resign.

She joined JCOPE in February 2012, and is the only person to have served in the position.

News of her exit comes less than two weeks after JCOPE Chair Janet DiFiore left that position in order to run for re-election as Westchester County district attorney.
