State Board of Elections Adopts New Campaign Contribution Limits
The NYS Board of Elections has posted to its website new campaign contribution limits for 2011. These new limits are not yet final. They must be published in the NYS Register (presumably they will appear tomorrow) and are expected to become final in July.
Here are the new limits (and the prior limits):
Statewide (Governor, AG, Comptroller) – $41,000 (was $37,800)
State Senate (primary) – $6,500 (was $6,000)
State Senate (general) – $10,300 (was $9,500)
State Assembly (primary) – $4,100 (was $3,800)
State Assembly (general) – $4,100 (was $3,800)
