State Board of Elections to Ask Moreland Commission to Support Request for More Resources

Tonight’s public hearing of the Moreland Commission to Investigate Public Corruption, being held in Manhattan, will focus on “campaign finance reform.” (Read the press release here.)

The Syracuse Post-Standard offers a preview, reporting that “The New York State Board of Elections has been understaffed and underfunded for a long time, its directors are expected to say tonight at a hearing about corruption in politics.”  Read the SBOE’s written testimony.
