JCOPE Is Hiring Compliance Auditors

The Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE), the state’s lobbying and ethics regulator, is seeking compliance auditors to work in their Albany, Buffalo and New York City offices.

According to the job postings, the responsibilities of the Compliance Auditor/Examiner will include:

“conducting entrance and exit conferences with filers and filer representatives; preparing and presenting detailed reports on technical findings; serving as a technical expert in investigations; reviewing and analyzing supporting evidence provided by audit subjects to substantiate statutory filings; and traveling throughout New York State as necessary to conduct field audits.”

Applications for these positions are due by May 6.
