JCOPE is Hiring

The Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE) has posted job notices for an Investigative Counsel and a Policy Analyst, both of which will be located in Albany.

The duties of the Investigative Counsel will include:

“conducting investigations and administrative proceedings relating to alleged ethics and lobbying law violations, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, preparing subpoenas, preparing investigation reports, and working with other law enforcement agencies.”

The Policy Analyst’s responsibilities will include:

“contributing to policy agenda, providing policy research and support to executive staff, and assisting attorneys and investigators with ethics and lobbying regulations, investigations, and outreach initiatives.”
