JCOPE to Hold ‘Failure to File’ Enforcement Hearings
The Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE) has posted a hearing notice indicating that it will hold public enforcement hearings regarding the failure of four entities (Blackboard, Inc.; Community Redemption Center; YL Management, LLC; Rotate Black, Inc.) to file Client Semi-Annual reports.
The hearings are scheduled for this coming Wednesday, Sept. 10, at the Commission’s offices in Albany.
If the entities are found to have “knowingly and willfully” failed to filed their reports, they will be subject to civil penalties of up to $25,000.
