JCOPE to Meet – Tuesday, October 30 @ 10:30 am

The Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE), the state’s ethics and lobbying regulator, holds its next meeting tomorrow at 10:30 am.

Agenda items for the meeting include consideration of a legislative proposal to amend Executive Law § 94(9-a) to allow JCOPE to disclose to make public the status of a potential investigative matter where the existence or substance of the matter has been made public; and a draft advisory opinion “reviewing and clarifying the application of the post-employment provisions of the Public Officers Law.”
