Good Government Groups to Call for Ethics, Rules Changes

In the wake of the Sheldon Silver scandal, reform groups — including the Brennan Center for Justice, Citizens Union, Common Cause New York, the League of Women Voters of NYS and NYPIRG – are holding a press conference in Albany tomorrow at which they will “identify five specific proposals through which the State Assembly can seize this historic opportunity to fight corruption and create a more transparent, participatory and publicly deliberative process.”
