From the event announcement:
Campaign finance reforms are once again a hot-button issue for New Yorkers. A panel of experts will review the problems posed by the ever-changing ways in which campaigns are financed, discuss what we know about how to deal with the issues, and discuss reforms currently before the Governor and the Legislature. The panel will emphasize reforms in New York, though they may draw on developments and experiences from other states and the national level.
