Ms. Foust is a principal attorney of the Firm’s Labor and Employment Department. Ms. Foust represents clients in Federal and State Courts on claims of workplace discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour violations and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the New York State Division of Human Rights (NYSDHR) on matters of discrimination. Ms. Foust also represents clients in Civil Service Law Section 72 and 75 matters and is well-versed in the Civil Service Law and the Taylor Law. In addition, Ms. Foust assists clients in complying with state and federal wage and hour, labor, and anti-discrimination laws. Ms. Foust also conducts employee anti-harassment and anti-discrimination training. Ms. Foust also represents clients in the filing of disability retirement applications to the New York state and local retirement system.
Prior to joining the firm, Kristin Foust worked for over a decade as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted a myriad of criminal offenses from arrest through sentencing. Ms. Foust gained extensive litigation and jury trial experience while working as an Assistant District Attorney.
