Attorney General Cuomo Announces the Arrest of Former State Fair Director
Attorney General Andrew Cuomo announced the arrest of former New York State Fair Director Peter Cappuccilli Jr. on charges of grand larceny, defrauding the government, and official misconduct. He is accused of using his State Fair position to benefit himself and his family.
The complaint alleges that Cappuccilli exploited his position to obtain personal benefits, including discounts from vendors. The full complaint is here.
The Attorney General (and Governor-elect) also issued a report proposing reforms at the State Fair “to address continuing management and financial deficiencies.”
