Attorney General Settles with Hevesi Fundraiser

A.G. Cuomo announced this morning that he has entered into a settlement agreement with Bill White, who was a fundraiser for former State Comptroller Alan Hevesi and an unlicensed placement agent.   Under the terms of the settlement (formally known as an “Assurance of Discontinuance“), White has agreed to pay $1 million to the State, and has promised to comply with the AG’s Public Pension Fund Reform Code of Conduct.
