Outgoing CPI Chair Urges Change

Commission on Public Integrity Chair Michael Cherkasky, who is resigning effective January 1st, expressed concern yesterday about some of the issues facing that entity.  At his final meeting, Cherkasky warned that the agency is underfunded, and expressed concern about the “virtually nonexistent” ethics oversight of the State Legislature.
