NYC CFB Reschedules Post-Election Hearing

The New York City Campaign Finance Board (CFB) has rescheduled its Post-Election Hearing, which was originally scheduled for Jan. 22, to be held on Thursday, Feb. 13th at is offices on Manhattan.

In addition to allowing the public the opportunity to testify before CFB, it will also feature panel discussions on election-related issues.

Here is the program schedule:

  • 10:00 AM        Panel:  NYC’s Small-Dollar Matching Program: Strengths and Challenges
  • 11:00 AM        Panel: Voter Education & Engagement: Reaching All New Yorkers
  • Noon                Public Testimony
  • 1:00 PM          Break
  • 2:00 PM          Panel: Bringing Independent Spending Out of the Dark
  • 3:00 PM          Panel: Improving Fundraising and Disclosure through Technology
  • 4:00 PM          Public Testimony

According to CFB:

“The hearing is an opportunity for the public to provide feedback on the Campaign Finance Program and the work of the CFB during last year’s citywide election. Information from this hearing will assist the CFB in preparing its mandated, comprehensive post-election report, to be published in September.”
