SBOE Increases Donation Limits for the 2016 Campaign Cycle

The State Board of Elections (SBOE) has proposed new political campaign contribution limits in a notice of proposed rulemaking in tomorrow’s NYS Register (June 17, 2015).

**The Governor and Lt. Governor run together in the general election.

Election Law 14-114(1)(c) directs the Board of Elections to adjust contribution limits for inflation every four years.
