Lobbyist Expected to Plead Guilty in Bribery Case

The New York Times reports that Richard Lipsky, the lobbyist who was charged along with former Senator Carl Kruger (who pled guilty last month shortly after resigning his seat, and who now faces up to 50 years in prison) last March, is expected to plead guilty in Federal District Court in Manhattan tomorrow.

Co-defendant Robert Aquino, former chief executive officer of Parkway Hospital in Queens, plead guilty today to bribing former Senator Carl Kruger.  Aquino faces up to five years in prison.
