NYC CFB to Hold Post-Election Hearing (Updated)

The New York City Campaign Finance Board (CFB) has announced that it will hold its Post-Election Hearing on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at New York Law School.  The event will also feature panel discussions on election-related issues.

According to CFB’s announcement:

“The hearing is an opportunity for the public to provide feedback on the Campaign Finance Program and the work of the CFB during last year’s citywide election. Information from this hearing will assist the CFB in preparing its mandated, comprehensive post-election report, to be published in September.”

  • 9:30 AM – NYC’s Small-Dollar Matching Program: Strengths and Challenges
  • 10:30 AM – Bringing Independent Spending Out of the Dark
  • 11:30 AM – Public Testimony
  • 1:00 PM Break
  • 2:00 PM – Voter Education & Engagement: Reaching All New Yorkers
  • 3:00 PM – Improving Fundraising and Disclosure through Technology
  • 4:00 PM – Public Testimony
