JCOPE to Hold Public Hearing on Proposed Lobbying, Source of Funding Regulations

The Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE) has announced that it plans to hold a public hearing on its proposed lobbying regulations and source of funding regulations in Albany on Monday, October 30.

JCOPE is asking that “concerned individuals, particularly members of the lobbying regulated community” provide comments on JCOPE’s proposed regulations.

The hearing notice asks that all public comments and requests to testify be submitted by 5 p.m. on October 16, 2017.
