NYPIRG’s Horner Offers Advice to Governor-Elect on Ethics

Blair Horner, NYPIRG’s Legislative Director, makes recommendations to Governor-Elect Cuomo on cleaning up Albany.

They are:

• an independent ethics watchdog;
• disclosure of lawmakers’ outside businesses, plus tougher ethics standards; and
• stricter limits on campaign donations from lobbyists and entities who do business with government.
